If you are a Missouri business owner that received the fraudulent mailing sent by the Corporate Records Service earlier this year, you may be entitled to a reimbursement. The Missouri Attorney General’s Office recently prosecuted the case against the scamming company. Corporate Records Service will be required to alert all companies that received the initial mailing back in February that their service was not associated with the Secretary of State and does not satisfy any state filing requirements. Any company that bought into the scam and submitted the fraudulent form and $125 fee are entitled to a refund. For more information, see the link below.
