The following states have passed legislation to accept the 2010 Amendments to the Uniform Commercial Code Revised Article 9. It is recommended that you use the new forms dated 4/20/11 as not every state will offer a grace period. Beginning July 1, the amendments are in effect in: Alabama California Vermont New York is close to passing the legislation but the bill has not yet been signed by the governor.
