Georgia – Foreign Entity Act Amended
Effective June 1, House Bill 143 amends Code Section 7-1-4 as it relates to foreign entity financial institutions and required filings with the Secretary of State’s office. Georgia – Early Filings Will Not be Refunded

Secretary of State Brian Kemp has warned businesses about a scam from the “Business Compliance Division” that is attempting to charge $125 for a fake “Certificate of Existence.” Such certificates are available for $10 through the Secretary of State’s Corporations
