The Michigan Dept. of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) has put out a notice warning businesses of a familiar scam mailing. A company called “Michigan Council for Corporations” is mailing forms to businesses stating that the business must pay a $150 fee and file corporate meeting minutes. This is not a state requirement.
