The Corporations Division of the Secretary of the Commonwealth will no longer accept a Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) in conjunction with the organization, formation or registration of any new business entity filing. If an FEIN is included on a new business entity filing, the FEIN will be redacted and a 9-digit state ID number will be assigned.
