Numerous Massachusetts corporations have received a fraudulent mailing from various entities such as “Massachusetts Council for Corporations” that appears to be an official request, however it is not from the Secretary of State’s office. The mailing is a solicitation to file annual meeting minutes and pay a $125 fee. Filing meeting minutes is not a requirement with the Secretary of State.
