The Secretary of State Office has issued a notification alerting business owners of a scam distributed by the company Corporate Records Service. The company sends out letters that request the completion of a “Annual Records Solicitation Form” and payment of a $125 fee. Corporate Records Service is in no way affiliated with the Secretary of State and completion of the “Annual Records Solicitation Form” does not meet the annual report requirement of the State of Louisiana. http://www.sos.la.gov/Pages/NewsAndEvents.aspx
