Businesses that fail to file annual reports on or before the May 1st deadline will immediately incur a $400 late fee. The late fee applies to all profit corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, and limited liability limited partnerships which fail to file their annual reports by May 1st. Not for profit corporations are not subject to the $400 late fee. If you are planning to pay the annual report filing fee with a check or money order, the payment voucher and check or money order must be postmarked and mailed on or before May 1st in order to avoid the late fee. More information about filing annual reports can be found at the link below.
