Senate Bill 798 extends the deadline for corporate charter forfeitures to January 31. Previously, the Secretary of State issued a proclamation on or before January 1. Now, domestic and foreign corporations that have not paid the annual franchise tax for a prior year will be proclaimed as forfeited on our before January 31.
