Sacramento -- The California Secretary of State has issued a Notice of Change regarding Limited Partnership's.
Under the Uniform Limited Partnership Act of 2008 that was placed into effect on January 1, 2010, all California Limited Partnerships will be subject to the revised forms and regulations.

Hawaii Cuts Fees in Half

Honolulu -- In an effort to improve the current business climate in Hawaii, the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs has announced that they have cut fees for securities and franchise filings by 50 percent.
The discounts will be placed into effect throughout the entire 2010 year to boost business activity and will adjust back to the regular fee schedule on January 1, 2011.
